Steven-Johnson’s Syndrome
Fever, sore throat, fatigue, wide spread flat blistering.
Antibiotics (co-trimoxazole, penicillin, trimethoprim), lamotrigine, phenytoin
Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis
Large peeling blisters
Antibiotics, NSAIDs, allopurinol, corticosteroids, anticonvulsants, methotrexate
Erythema multiforme
Raised target lesions
Antibiotics, anticonvulsants, allopurinol, aspirin
Extrapyramidal symptoms
Dyskinesia, akinesia, dystonia
Typical antipsychotics: haloperidol, chlorpromazine
Antiemetic: metoclopramide
Hyperprolactinemia
Gynaecomastia, galactorrea, loss of libido, amenorrhea
Atypical antipsychotics: olanzapine, risperidone
Typical antipsychotics: chlorpromazine

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome
Fever, confusion, sweating, rigidity, autonomic dysfunction
Typical antipsychotics: haloperidol, chlorpromazine
Atypical antipsychotic: clozapine, olanzapine, risperidone, quetiapine
Antiemetic: metoclopramide
Serotonin Syndrome
Cognitive: headaches, confusion, coma
Autonomic: sweating, hyperthermia, tachycardia
Somatic: hyperreflexia, myoclonus, tremor
SSRIs: fluoxetine, citalopram
MAOi: selegiline, moclobemide
TCA: amitriptyline
Reye’s syndrome
Progressive encephalopathy: vomiting, confusion, loss of consciousness
Aspirin use in children
Also post chickenpox and influenza

Swelling around the mouth
