Disadvantages of further reform

A
  • Further conflict within regions – imbalances of power
    Intertwined with corruption – judiciary reducing power of them, is more of a self-serving interest
  • No demand for it
  • Can lead to more referendums – disruptive (controversial), expensive, cost time (but then any piece of legislation costs time), undermines the idea of parliamentary sovereignty
