ACPO
GTN 300 microg every 5 mins prn
- SBP > 100
- Adequate conscious state
- No PDE 5
Chest pain/acute coronary syndrome
- Aspirin 300 mg
- SL GTN 300 mg repeat 5 mins prn
• Adequate BP
• Rate/rhythm appropriate
• no PDE5
Primary PPH
IV tranexamic acid 1 g
If reduced M 250 mL aliquots up to 20 mL/kg saline
Secondary PPH
Consult ECP
Mild or moderate allergy
Oral fexofenadine 180 mg (>12 yo)
Anaphylaxis
IM Adrenaline
- 10 microg/kg (single max 500 microg)
Neb Adrenaline
- 5 mg/5 mL
Saline
- 10-20 mL/kg max 250 mL
Prednisolone
- 50 mg oral
Fluid resuscitation (medical)
IV Saline
- 250 mL aliquots up to 20 mL/kg

Oral carbs
Oral glucose
- 15 g
IM glucagon
- 1 mg/iu
IV glucose
- titrated against gcs and bgl
Nausea and vomiting
Ondansetron
- ODT/IV/IM 4 mg (max 8 mg)
IV Droperidol
- 250-500 microg
Dilute 10 mg/2 mL in 100 mL bag, draw off 2.5 - 5 mL
Sepsis
IV saline
-250 mL aliquots up to 20 mL/kg
TBI/Hypoxic BI
IV Saline
- 250 mL aliquots up to 20 mL/kg
- Aim for MAP 90/SBP 110
Challenging behaviours
Oral Lorazepam
- 1-2 mg
IM droperidol
- 5-10 mg (5 usually adequate)
Seizure
IM Midazolam
- 0.1 mg/kg max single dose 10 mg, treat once PRN @ 5 mins total max dose 20 mg
Pain mild-moderate
Paracetamol
- Oral 1000 mg
- IV 1000 mg over 10 mins
Oral Ibuprofen
- 400 mg
IV/IM Ketorolac
- 10 mg
Methoxyflurane
- 3 mL
Pain Moderate-Severe
If sedation score < 2
IV Fentanyl
- up to 50 microg, total max 300 microg in 1st hour and 100 microg over 3 hours
IN Fentanyl
- up to 200 microg (max 400 microg)
IV Morphine
- 2.5 mg - 5 mg, total max dose 30 mg
