A

If the pt is Unstabel
- Less than Adequate perfusion
- Profound Bradycardia (HR < 40) and APO
- Runs of VT or Ventricular Escape rhytms
- HR <20

What is the normal pathyway of Bradycardia ?

A
  • Vagus Nerve (Cranial Nerve x)
  • Stimulated by carotid sinuses or other stimuli
  • Sends messages to SA and AV node
  • Release Acetylcholine which binds to the SA and AV nodes
  • Increases Threshold potential
  • Decreases Heart Rate
