EN: how do you get files into encore
file>import as>assets>then pick the exported uncompressed version of the finished export
EN: you need a this for every file that will put on the DVD
a new timeline for each file you are bringing to the DVD.
EN: how do you add chapters to the timeline
there is an ADD CHAPTER icon at the upper right hand corner of the time line window
ENCORE: from where do you open a menu?
you acess that in the bottom right hand corner of the project window
ENCORE: under the build function in project window, this is how should you export ur final project
DVD Image .. instead of DVD Disc
ENCORE: u can add additional content to a DVD (that doesnt play or even is a part of the menu functions) this way
In encore>build>DVD ROM Content (this lets you attach things like the animatic and the media files and all that shiiiiiiit.
ENCORE: this feature lets you preview the DVD before you BUILD it
PREVIEW (upper right hand corner)
ENCORE: how do burn a disc on mac?
applications>disk utility> (then pull over the DVD image from ENCORE .. .and hit)> burn
EN: to add content to the flowchart click on this
the link button on the right side of the screen properties button and drag it to the content you want linked
EN: in properties for DVD this feature tells the program to do the next thing after done playing

EN: to change the ‘main title’ you have to do this
open the .psd file for that menu in photoshop and make changes (remember to save it as modified else it will always look that way)
