Arrive by w/c or ambulatory?

A

For the stretcher, make a surgical bed & raise the bed for transfer from the stretcher.

W/C or Ambulatory ; Ensure Bed is Closed. / Lower the bed to comfort lvl as directed by the nurse. / Put call light on sheets. / Wash hands.

Ambulance ; Raise bed rails, call light in reach, wait for ambulance staff, raise bed to highest when ambulance staff arrive.
