A

Declarative
A sentence that makes a statement; ends with a period
Ex. The sky is blue in the city.

Interrogative
A sentence that asks a question; ends with a question mark
Ex. Where are my purple swimming shorts?

Imperative
A sentence that orders or tells someone what to do; ends with a period
Ex. Go clean your messy room now

Exclamatory
A sentence that says something with strong emotion; ends with an exclamation mark
Ex. I can’t believe I just won the contest!
