Q

CRA-SF

A

TP: 1 fw posterior to the coronal suture on the mid-parietal bone (1/2 way between the STL and sagittal suture). Sup to inf.
TX: glide the lateral cheek in a superior and medial direction. (From the angle of the mandible to the nasal bone)

CRP-SF

A

TP: on the posterior superior parietal bone 3 fws lateral to the sagittal suture and 2 fws posterior to the EAM. Sup to inf.
TX: glide the lateral cheek in a posterior and superior direction from the mental protuberance to the EAM.

OSM-ADP - Orbital Superior, Medial

A

TP: between the eye and superior medial orbit (extra-ocular tendon tension is palpable when dysfunctional).
TX: Px looks superomedial with eyes closed. Glide the orbit in a superomedial direction allowing the eye to roll in the same direction.

OSL-ADP - Orbital Superior, Lateral

A

TP: between the eye and superior lateral orbit (extra-ocular tendon tension is palpable when dysfunctional).
TX: Px looks superolateral with eyes closed. Glide the orbit in a superolateral direction allowing the eye to roll in the same direction.

OIM-ADP - Orbital Inferior, Medial

A

TP: between the eye and inferior medial orbit (extra-ocular tendon tension is palpable when dysfunctional).
TX: Px looks inferomedial with eyes closed. Glide the orbit in a inferomedial direction allowing the eye to roll in the same direction.

Q

BAS-ADP - Buccal (fat pad) Anterior, Superior

A

TP: over the anterior superior aspect of the Buccal Fat pad (BFP). Note the anterior aspect of the fat pad is posterior to the anterior border of the superficial masseter.
TX: glide medial (anterior) rotation of the BFP followed by posterior and slightly superior translation toward the Buccal/Maxillary artery.

Q

BAI-ADP Buccal Anterior, Inferior

A

TP: over the anterior inferior aspect of the Buccal Fat pad (BFP). Ant aspect of the fat pad is posterior to the anterior border of the superficial Masseter.
TX: glide medial (anterior) rotation of the BFP followed by superior and slightly posterior translation toward the Buccal/Maxillary artery.

Q

BPS-ADP Buccal Posterior, Superior

A

TP: over the posterior superior aspect of the Buccal Fat pad (BFP) found approx 1 fw inferior to the posterior zygoma and 1 fw anterior to the upper mandibular condyle.
TX: glide lateral (posterior) rotation of the BFP followed by posterior and slightly superior translation toward the Buccal/Maxillary artery.

Q

SUBMP-ADP Posterior Submandibular

A

TP: in the C2 paravertebral mass. Identify TP with a “compressive” lateral to medial “snapping” motion
TX: glide the submandibular tissue and gland posterior, superior finishing with a medial to lateral roll.

Q

STHP-ADP Posterior Suprathyroid Adipose

A

TP: Located in the C3 paravertebral mass. Identify with a ‘compressive’ lateral to medial snapping motion.
Treatment: supine or seated
Cervical rotation away from tp moderately
Glide: Thyroid tissue and gland superolaterally (ipsilateral), finishing with slight posterior and ipsilateral roll

Symptoms: Cervicalgia, thyroid dysfunction and throat tightness, TMJ, headaches

Creates segmental extended dysfunction at C3/4

Supine or seated
Cervical rotaiton away from TP side mildly
Glide: thyroid tissue and gland inferolaterally (ipsilateral), finishing with a slight posterior and ipsilateral roll

PAX-ADP Posterior Axillary Adipose Tissue

A

TP: Located in C5 paravertebral mass. Identify TP with a ‘compressive’ lateral to medial ‘snapping’ motion.
Supine or seated
Glide: Axillary artery and soft tissue in a proximal direction, finishing with a posterior to anterior (internal rotation) arc.
Symptoms: Cervicalgia, upper extremity pain/neuralgia, shoulders
