Indications
• Narrow-complex supraventricular tachyarrhythmia
• Stable, undifferentiated, regular, monomorphic wide-complex tachycardia
Adult:
12 mg IV bolus, rapidly, followed by a normal saline flush.
Contact base for a second dose of 12 mg IV bolus, rapidly, followed by a normal saline flush after an interval of 1-2 minutes if the tachycardia persists. NOTE: Total maximum dose should not exceed 24 mg.
Pediatric:
0.1 mg/kg IV/IO bolus, rapidly followed by normal saline flush.
Additional dose of 0.2 mg/kg rapid IV/IO bolus, followed by normal saline flush
