Adrenocortical- serum levels in AM BG less than 50 NA less 130 K- more 5 Bun/creatinine/hct Chloride less than 90 WBC- elevated
Treatment of Addison

Overexertion, exposure cold, acute infection,decrease salt intake lead to shock or death

Cyanosis or pallor Fever Increase P and RR Decrease BP Confusion Abd pain

Ivf- glucose and NA bolus at first
Iv corticosteroid- life steroid replacement
Vasopressin
No activity-recumbent
Incr- Na when stress or hot
