Dental pad
In sizes on lower jaw, canine teeth are the same shape and size,
animal wraps tongue around grass pulls tightly across the leathery “ dental pad” on its upper jaw then lower incisors and canine a slice through it
Diastema
A gap is called the diastema which separates the front teeth from the gap teeth or “premolars” the tongue and cheeks operate in this gap moving the freshly cut grass to the large grinding surfaces of the cheek teeth or molars
Premolars and molars

Have sharp cusps that cut and Crush. The jaw has strong muscles and moves in a vertical plane opening wide and strongly clamping down to hold prey

Act like shears, sliding past each other to rip muscles from bone
