High dose steroid
Dosage: A common initial dose is 1 mg/kg/day, up to a maximum of 60 mg/day.
Duration: Typically prescribed for 10-14 days.
Tapering: After the initial treatment period, the dose is usually tapered over a further 7-14 days.
