Pathophysiology of acute pancreatitis?
A
- Autodigestion of pancreatic tissue by pancreatic enzymes leading to necrosis
- Usually due to alcohol or gallstones

- Epigastric pain -> back
- Vomiting
- Tenderness, ileus and low grade fever
- Cullens and grey turners sign

- Sugar (blood glucose > 10)
