Strep Pneumoniae, Haemophilus Influenzae

Who does it affect?
A
Usually children aged 3-7

Signs and Symptoms (5)
A
Inflammation of mucosa of middle ear cleft, pain, deafness, fever, discharge

What is the treatment?
A
Analgesia, supportive, antibiotics if fails to improve in 4 days e.g Amoxicillin/Clarithromycin or immunosuppressed
