A
Symptomatic:
- fluids
- bed rest
- +/- anti-tussives ONLY in adults (Tesslon Pearls)
- +/-bronchodilators (not really used)

A
Viral: Adenovirus*

What is the hallmark of Bronchitis?
A
A cough!!!!!
- +/- productive for about 1-3 weeks

What patients should receive antibiotics for Acute bronchitis?
A
- COPD pts
- Elderly population
- Immunocompromised
- Patients not responsive to conservative tx
- Cough > 7-10 days
