Long duration
presence of lymphocytes of macrophages
proliferation of blood vessels and connective tissues

What is a granuloma?

A

a small area of inflammation caused by infection
occurs when lymphocytes and macrophages go to the site of injury which can split into two things
a non-caseating epithelioid granuloma and a caseating granuloma
they can form scar tissue later
