Initial bedside and blood tests for acute abdomen

A
  • Urine dipstick - infection/haematuria? - MC&S
  • Pregnancy test
  • ABG - assess tissue hypoperfusion and rapid Hb
  • Routine bloods - FBC, U&E, LFT, CRP, amylase/lipase and G&S - crossmatch if need
  • ECG - myocardial referred pain? pre-op workup
