Facts: A french woman was deported against her will
Principle: was the defendant guilty even though her presence was not voluntary in the country

Facts: The defendant refused to leave the hospital when very drunk and staff kicked him out and he ended up being charged of being drunk on the highway
Principle: All that was required for liability was that the defendant should be perceived to be drunk whilst on a public highway. There was no need for the court to have any regard as to how he came to be there.
