What is the immediate Action of BC during an earthquake?
BC 1 will poll each station on Red 3 Report of following conditions: PERSONNEL APPARATUS FACILITY
Level A ( Alpha ) earthquake response
Normal operating procedures, on radio standby
Level B ( Bravo ) earthquake response
High number of calls- single Engine dispatched on all fire calls, medical calls may be downgraded.
Level C ( Charlie ) earthquake response
Major structural damage, All response determined by BC1.
Level D ( Delta ) earthquake response
Verdugo is unable to receive calls or transmit via radio, the Department will be in Emergency mode and be assigned by BC 1.
