Data which has numbers in it. Numerical Data
Ordinal Data
Data which indicates some type order
Anecdotal notes
Brief notes taken when observing participants
Rating Scales
Method of data collection which gathers comparative information about a specific research subject
Construct Validity
It is present when an instrument measures an intended concept or construct
Content Validity
Instrument that measures the intended subject matter of the content and takes into account all aspects of a situation
Criterion Validity
It is the degree that scores on an instrument correlate with scores on a similar instrument measuring the same or similar construct
