• Tybalt comes to fight Romeo but Romeo does not want to fight, so mercutio fights for him
• Romeo try’s to break them up and Tybalt murders Mercutio
• Mercutio blames Romeo for his death
• out of revenge Romeo kills Tybalt and the prince exiles Romeo because he feels tybalts death was justified but if he comes back the punishment will be death
