Macbeth is also suspicious of Banquo, both know of the prophecy, and Macbeth wants to ensure his lineage continues. He invites Macbeth and Fleance (B’s son) to it and sends 2 murderers to kill them, F escapes. At the banquet, B’s ghost appears, only visible to M and he begins to rage and shout. Lady M tells their guests to leave.

But to be safely thus.” (M talking of his precarious position, needs to get rid of Banquo)

Only for them” (M saying how B will profit off of his hard work)

Led you to Duncan.” Lady (M trying to console M after seeing the ghost, it’s just in his head)
