And Hera, Zeus’s wife, torments you because Zeus fell in love with you.
You: And Hera, Zeus’s wife, torments you because Zeus fell in love with you.
Chorus: Are all wives to punish women whom their husbands fall in love with?
Io, in Zeus you have an unsatisfied lover, and in Hera you have a jealous wife.
Io: Who is this woman? And who is her son?
Prometheus: I will not say. It is my secret unless Zeus unbinds me and sets me free.
If you’re not going to reveal your secret, Prometheus, then you may as well tell Io of her future wanderings, and who will set her free.

Til then, he may still inflict punishment on you, even harsher than you’re receiving.

Hermes, we are not afraid to suffer the same fate as Prometheus.
