A

Brabantio goes to the senator/Duke and accuses Othello of using magic for his daughter, Desemonda, to fall in love with him. First time we see Desdemona and have Othello’s personal and professional lives cross over.

Brabantio is planting the seed in which Iago will later work upon, suggesting that the relationship between parent child is much stronger than lovers therefore it will mean less to her if she were to betray Othello in the same way.
