Romeo had a dream that made him afraid to go to the party- this is hunting at future events to the audience as Romeo worries something bad will happen

R+j see each others other the first time / but Tybalt sees Romeo and wants to fight him
How is conflict already shown when r+j first see each other
The hatred of the fued already starts to tear them apart from the first time they see each other tybalt is already threatening violence

Shakespeare puts r+j first meeting side by side with tybalts menacing threats
This shows that r+j love is doomed from the start by the fued between their families

It’s the ‘balcony scene’
It’s tense and rushed but it’s also the only scene where they’re alone for long

It means when someone is talking to themeselves
Juliet is doing this but Romeo over hears her and she doesn’t know
Shakespeare does this as it allows Juliet to speak opening about her true feelings for Romeo
