describe DSM criteria for schizophrenia

A

Schizophrenia is defined as having at least 2 of the following psychotic symptoms for 6 months : delusions, disorganised speech, hallucinations, negative symptoms, catatonia and or other abnormal behaviour. Patient must also have criterion A symptoms (delusions/hallucinations/disorganised speech) for 1 month.
