A

Accountable Care Organization - the name of a 3-year (through 2023) pilot program partnership with DHA, Kaiser Permanente and Humana Military. It allows beneficiaries to seek care from Kaiser network providers in Atlanta, GA area to improve efficiency and effectiveness of care.

• Prime coverage plan option only in the East region.

A

A

Active Duty Deceased Sponsor - ADSM (Active Duty Service Member) died while on Active Duty Status.

  • Surviving children are eligible for AD benefits until they age out (age 21 or up to age 23 for full-time college students)
  • Surviving spouse is eligible for AD benefits for 3 years after the sponsor’s deceased date. (After 3 years, he/she would be eligible for Non-Active duty benefits and must pay fees for their enrollment.)

  • Sponsor and family can enroll in TRICARE Prime or TRICARE select.
  • They are auto enrolled in TRICARE Select.

  • TIP Contact Handling - allows associates to view the sponsor’s information as well as the family members associated with the sponsor (The Phone documentation tool).
