Trial of Labor After Cesarean

Groub B Strep
An organism found in about 50% of the population’s rectum’s/vaginas.
Usually no harm comes to adults, however babies may become septic after birth for inhaling GBS during birth
If positive for GBS, mom is treated with 2 doses of IV Abx in labor to cover the baby

Intrauterine Growth Restriction/Fetal Growth Restriction
Poor growth of a baby while in the mother’s womb during pregnancy. The developing baby weights less than 90% of other babies at the same GA
IUFD
Intrauterine Fetal Demise (death)
Fetal death occurring after the 20th week of pregnancy
