PC
Programme counter
Is a registar in the cpu ( central processing unit)thats keeps track of the memory addresses.
MAR
Memory Address Register
Memory Addresses serve as a map or indexing system, allowing the computers processor to access and manage data stored in its memory efficiently.
MDR
Memory Data Register
This is a temporary registar in the central processing unit, thats stores data being transferred to the main memory.
MBR
Memory Buffer Register
This is a harware device in the central processing unit transferring information that being stored.
CIR
Current Instruction Register
Stores the data, transfers the data
This holds the current instruction to be executed, having been fetched from memory
CPU
Central Processing Unit
The Brain of the computer , primary component of the computer , the main processor
ROM
Read-only memory
This is permenant memory that stores instruction and data when running and starting a computer.
ALU
Arithmetic Logic Unit
This works with binary numbers , this processes arithmetic and logic operations which include numbers and subtraction, addition and multiplication.
This is a digital circuit in the CPU.
Clock
Measured in hertz
It is the timing and the speed of the computer , there is a chip inside is the crystal that vibrates at different frequencys within the computer
RAM
Random Access Memory
Stores and transfers dara that is currently stored on the computer 4GB of data is it enough for web browsing.
CACHE
High-speed memory
This is a stored data , used by servers and apps
ACC
Accumulator
This is where arithmetic and logics results are stored in the accumulated memory
