Five PRIME applications: CAD MDT MRE RMS DRE
- Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD): dispatchers use CAD to create calls and send information to officers on patrol. Also used to track and update unit status.
- Mobile Data Terminal (MDT): Members use MDT to run queries, view dispatch information, update status and send messages from their vehicles.
- Mobile Report Entry (MRE): Members use MRE to write and submit reports from the MDT. Once transcribed, they are stored in the PRIME RMS.
- Records Management System (RMS): Anyone with access to the PRIME RMS can use it to access and read operational police reports written by any police officer in BC
- Direct Report Entry (DRE): Used in the office environment, allows direct entry into the RMS.

Initiate containment if suspect is located and it is confirmed the killing has stopped (transition into barricaded subject procedures).

EEN (IRD)
- Enter and/or approach the location to locate the victim(s).
- Extract victim(s) to a safe area–the Casualty Collection Point (CCP)-and notify the Incident Commander. The CCP is a carefully selected area or room within or near the premises where the Rescue Team(s) will collect extracted casualties and where first aid can be safely provided. Usually this room or area will be protected by armed officers and has access to exterior doors.
- Notify medical personnel if necessary.
