1) IGF-1: raised
2) Oral glucose tolerance test: fail to suppress IGF-1 <1 = diagnosis

Management of Acromegaly?
A
1) Trans-sphenoidal excision
2) GH inhibition - octreotide (somatostatin antagonist)
3) GH receptor antagonist - pegvisomant
4) Radiotherapy
