Q

What is ARCS instructional design

A

Attention, Relevance, Confidence/Competence, Satisfaction—ARCS for short. Choose activities that help people stay engaged so they don’t drift off (Attention) and that are relevant to the goal (Relevance). You want activities that people can accomplish successfully (Confident/Competence). Finally, make sure activities fit into the overall design so people think the retrospective is a good use of their time (Satisfaction).
