How is acid rain produced?
A
Pollution of the air, ground , water and burning fossil fuels

A
Sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide

How can normal rain turn into more acidic rain?
A
Fossil fuels naturally contain sulfur dioxide. When sulfur dioxide dissolves in water droplets in cloud it makes rain more acidic.

How does acid rain effect trees?
A
It damages the waxy layer on the leaves. This makes it difficult for trees to absorb minerals.
