How do Ace inhibitors work
They Block angiotensin 1 – 2 increase bradykinin retains potssium excretes sodium and water
What are ace inhibitors used for
used for hypertension heart failure, MI diabetic/ non diabetic retnopathy

A nurse should advise pt taking ace inhibitor with a diuretic to
Stop the diuretic for 2-3 days before the start of the Ace inhibitor
