Counter Analysis

A

However, it could be argued that accountability was not properly dealt with as the House of Lords itself was an undemocratic system which is the opposite of what Britain were aiming for.

Evaluation

A

To evaluate, it appears that the issue of accountability had been brought up, however it was dealt with very poorly. Despite accountability being achieved for politicians themselves, the House of Lords was still undemocratic and had far too much power. Reforms to change this failed, giving Britain more work to achieve this. Overall, compared to Fairness and Universal Suffrage, this issue was not dealt with effectively and had unimpressive outcomes.
