Resolve Apple ID password issues.
Use your own device to reset your password.
-iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch with watchOS 8 or later:
Settings->Your Name->Password & Security->Change Password.
-Mac with macOS Catalina or later:
Apple menu->System Preferences->Apple ID->Password & Security->Change Password.
-Use a trusted phone number, trusted email, recovery key, or account recovery contact.
Resolve Apple ID password issues.
Use someone else’s device to reset your password.
-Apple Support app:
Open app->Passwords & Security->reset Apple ID password->enter Apple ID->follow steps.
-Find My iPhone app:
Open app->remove Apple ID (if listed)->forgot Apple ID or Password->follow steps.
Resolve Apple ID password issues.
If you can’t change or reset your password.
iforgot.apple.com->enter Apple ID->reset your password->answer security questions->enter recovery key from email->follow steps.
