A

At least serious injury to any person or loss of consciousness

What does the FAA use to classify an injury as a serious injury?

A

Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) Level 3 - the person requires hospitalization but the injury is fully reversible

What is the dollar value associated with accidents that must be reported to the FAA?

A

Damage to any property if the cost is greater than $500 to repair or replace the property (whichever is lower)

This does not included damage to the UA

A

The report may be submitted to the FAA Regional Operations Center electronically or by phone within 10 calendar days of the operations that created the injury or damage
