What does the Ghost of Christmas Present represent?
He is dressed like Saint Nicholas and so shows the genrosity there should be at Christmas.
Who is Scrooge first shown and what does he think of them?
He is shoen the Cratchit family and begins to understand the struggle of the poor. He also learns about Tiny Tim and this makes Scrooge feel sorry and he begins to be remorseful as he wants Tiny Tim to live.
What 3 groups of people are shown celbrating christmas?
Miners, People in the lighthouse and people on a ship.
What is happening at Freds house?
He is having a party and Scrooge tries to join in with the games venthough he can’t be heard. They make fun of him and talked about him being a ‘savage animal’
What do Ignorance and Want represent?
They are two children who represent two social problems:ignoring poverty and problems and the want for basic necessities. Scrooge is told to be aware of Ignorance more than want as ignorance is the root of the problem. They are also children and so the show how everyone is affected and how much of a problem it is.
