Coherence
The clear and orderly presentation of ideas in a paragraph or essay.
Effect
a change that is a result or consequence of an action or other cause
Effective
successful in producing a desired or intended result
Concequences
the effect, result, or outcome of something occurring earlier
Coherence
logical interconnection; overall sense or understandability.
Theme
the main subject that is being discussed or described in a piece of writing, a movie, etc.
Metaphor
comparing two different things without using like or as.
Objective
relating to nouns, noun phrases, or pronouns that are the objects of verbs or prepositions
Subjective
relating to nouns, noun phrases, or pronouns that are the subjects of verbs
Text Features
The elements of a text designed to help the reader locate, understand or organize information
Hypothesize
put (something) forward as a hypothesis
Credibility
the quality of being trusted and believed in
Inference
a conclusion reached on the basis of evidence and reasoning.
Primary Source
original materials that have not been altered or distorted in any way.
Secondary Source
is a document or recording
that relates or discusses information originally presented elsewhere.
