To be trusted or believed by someone.

Closely connected to the matter at hand.

It is an adequate for the purpose of supporting a claim or reason.

What does it mean to have formal style?
A style of writing or speaking that is appropriate for formal communication such as in academics.

The use of emotional, ethical, and logical arguments to persuade in writing or speaking.
What does logos mean?
A rhetorical appeal to reason or logic through statistics, facts, and reasonable examples.
What does Pathos mean?
A rhetorical appeal to the readers or listeners senses or emotions through connotative language and imagery.
