What is the rule of proportionality?
A
The punishment of a certain crime should be in proportion to the severity of the crime itself.

A
Crime is a threat to peoples freedom.
The goal of the model is the ‘suppression of crime’
It’s main duty is to ‘catch and punish offender’, deterrence and prevention of further crime.
