A
The belt drive connected to the motor and on the other end a prime mover which would be connected to the fly wheel or a torque inducer like a fly wheel

What are the stator role?
A
Turn the DC into AC and to take the current from the rotor to the stator and out into three phase

Single loop generator, how does it work?
A
A rotor is once again placed into a EMF from coils causing it to rotate, the carbon brushes extract the electrons it picks up and out onto the service as electrical current
