A Victim survey which asks about experiences of crime .

Includes all crime such as those not reported ,hidden figure..

Involves all members of society such as those over 16, businesses ,households and the general puplic

Captures unreported crime + hidden figures therefore great for information.

Use the same method of CRIME SURVEY as-well as a large sample of people therefore reliable as can be consistent.

Structure of the survey is always the same for all participants.

Relies and first hand victim knowledge so accurate rather then police information. The results are real.

Takes into consideration all crimes whether they are unreported or hidden figures so there is real information on everything

Will always be up to date as they ask a large proportion of people of the same area constantly.
