What are mores?
Basic and essential norms which maintain civilization.
What is socialisation?
A process where people learn norms, values and roles of society.
What are moral codes?
Rules, values and principles held by an individual, organisation or society.
What is deviance?
Behaviour that is uncommon or out of the ordinary.
What is actus reus?
A guilty act of committing a crime.
What is mens rea?
A guilty mind which acts with intention.
What is the social definition of criminal behaviour?
If a society labels an act as a crime it becomes one causing differences between what constitutes crime under the legal and social definition
