Co-amoxiclav and clarithromycin

Ciprofloxacin + Vancomycin
Lower urinary tract infection
Trimethoprim or nitrofurantoin.
Acute pyelonephritis
Any of:
Cefalexin - good for preg women that don’t need admission
Co-amoxiclav (only if appropriate in line with culture and sensitivity results)
Trimethoprim (only if appropriate in line with culture and sensitivity results)
Ciprofloxacin 500 mg twice a day for 7 days.
Impetigo
Topical fusidic acid, oral flucloxacillin if widespread (Clarithromycin or Erythromycin if allergic)
Cellulitis and Erysipelas
Flucloxacillin (clari or erythromycin if allergic)
Co-amoxiclav if near eyes or nose
Animal or human bite
Co-amoxiclav (doxycycline + metronidazole if penicillin-allergic)
Mastitis during breast-feeding
Flucloxacillin (Clarithromycin or Erythromycin if allergic)
GBS Throat
Benzylpenicillin
Sinusitis
Amoxicillin
Otitis Media
Amoxicillin
