It means that they use resources in a bad or harmful way.
What are the common kinds of resource abuse?
Pollution and using up resources so that there is too little left for future generations to enjoy and use
What is air pollution?
It is pollution from industries and cities that fills the air with harmful chemicals that can harm people’s health and damage the environment
What is over-fishing?
Over-fishing reduces the oceans fish stocks. Reduced numbers of fish affects jobs and the supply of food
What happens if deforestation takes place?
Removing forests lowers the available supplies of valuable wood, destroys the places where animals and people live, affects the valence of gases in the atmosphere and can lead the to souls being washed away
