To show him land, to take care of him, and many descendants and big family
Where did he go after Ur?
Abraham and his family left a Ur and went to Haran for 5 years. They then went to Canaan. The land in Canaan was beautiful, but Abr still no son

Married to Sarah
No kids with Sarah until Canaan, when Isaac was born.
Isaac gift from god.
Why was Abraham tested and how?
God asked Abr to sacrifice his only son, Isaac.
God ordered them to go to the land of Moriah and offer Issac as a sacrifice.
Abr was about to kill Isaac when an angel of the lord spoke out and told him to stop
A ram was provided instead
God tested Abr to prove his faith
This story is important as it reminds to be faithful in God even when suffering.
