There are 56 cards and they represent daily and practical aspects of life. There are 16 Tarot Court cards which represent 16 different personality characteristics. The remaining 40 cards are numbered and split into 4 suits: Cups, Swords, Wands, and Pentacles. These represent various day-to-day situations.
