2) Teams selected from across the different schools will come together to begin to research, design and implement sustainable solutions to problems experienced in their school.

3) Every Saturday, they attend workshops at Ardhi Uni where they can evelop key skills such as time management, creativity, problem solving and project planning, which equip them to be radical change-makers in their future careers
- Also receive mentoring from CDI and Bridge for Change team
- Present the problem, solution and implementation steps to a panel of judges

1) New initiative being piloted this Summer that aims to improve the computer skills of out-of-school girls in order to improve their confidence and chances of employability.

1) First workshop of KompyutHER

Held on Saturday 26th August, 2017 at UDSM

  • 18 girls between the ages of 16 and 21 participated in the workshop, the majority of whom had never attended or were no longer attending school
  • Over 80% of the girls had never used a computer before, could not remember if they had ever used one before, or had not used one for a number of years.
    2) Significant improvement in their understanding of some computer programs, every girl had created her own Google account and everyone had collectively discussed how we might use computers in our future careers.
