- CML
- Physiological- exercise pregnancy, lactation, neonates
- acute infection
- acute inflammation
- drugs: steroids, G-CSF
- Leukocyte adhesion deficiency
- smoking (number one cause)

A
- physiologic: more common in AA
- drugs: antipsychotics, anti-epilieptics, anti-thyroid, antibiotics
- chemo
- immune: lupus, rheumatoid arthritis

almost always drug induced:
- clozapine (anti psychotic)
- propythiouracil (antithyroid)
- anti convulsant
- sulfa and chloramphenicol
- levamisol cocaine (most common in ER)
